Game Terms and Conditions

By registering for and playing Versent Snake (the "Game"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

The Game is open to attendees of the event at which it is offered. Participants must provide accurate and complete registration details, including name, email address, and leaderboard name, to participate and to be eligible for prizes.

Versent reserves the right to verify participant eligibility and disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information.

2. Fair Play

You agree to play the Game using only the controls and gameplay mechanisms provided by Versent.

The following activities are prohibited:

• automated gameplay or scripted inputs;
• modification or tampering with the game client or leaderboard;
• exploitation of bugs or vulnerabilities;
• submitting scores not achieved through normal gameplay; or
• any conduct that unfairly impacts the integrity of the Game.

Versent may monitor gameplay activity and investigate suspected breaches. Any participant suspected of breaching these terms may be disqualified at Versent's sole discretion.

Prizes are awarded at Versent's discretion based on leaderboard standings at the close of the competition period.

Winners will be contacted using the email address provided during registration. If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, or does not respond within the timeframe specified by Versent, Versent may award the prize to the next eligible participant.

Prizes must be collected either:

• from the Versent booth at the Summit event; or
• from a Versent office after the event has concluded,

at a date and time reasonably determined by Versent and communicated to the winner.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless required by law.

4. Privacy and Consent to Contact

By registering for and playing the Game, you consent to Versent collecting, storing, and using your personal information, including your name, email address, leaderboard name, gameplay activity, and score, for the purposes of:

• administering and operating the Game;
• maintaining leaderboard functionality;
• contacting winners and arranging prize collection;
• contacting you regarding future events, promotions, marketing communications, and updates from Versent; and
• contacting you regarding employment, recruitment, and career opportunities with Versent.

By participating in the Game, you acknowledge and agree that Versent may contact you via email after the event for these purposes.

Your leaderboard name and score may be displayed publicly within the Game. Your email address will not be publicly displayed.

Versent will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

You may opt out of marketing or recruitment communications at any time using the unsubscribe option included in communications or by contacting Versent directly.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Versent is not responsible for:

• technical malfunctions or interruptions affecting gameplay;
• lost, delayed, or corrupted scores or submissions;
• unauthorised access to participant data; or
• any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Game or acceptance of a prize.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Changes

Versent may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version number above identifies the version accepted by participants at the time of registration.

Where practical, material changes will be communicated to registered participants.
